April 15th already…Two months have flown by and it has felt like forever in many respects. A few days after my last journal entry my mother was rushed into emergency surgery and nearly died. Today she came home. She is still pretty weak having been bed ridden all this time but her physical therapy is going well and there ultimately is nothing like being home to help you recuperate even more. She is strong and I am sure she will be up and about in no time.

Ran into a friend from high school today that I haven’t seen since graduation. We were in art class together. I always thought he was really talented and it was nice to hear that he is doing well with his art and is doing airbrush work on the South Side. He also happened to mention our reunion this year…twenty years…*ouch* I don’t feel that old.

Also saw the contest posted for Autumn Country…I am really going to try to squeeze in an entry this time (considering I have missed the last few and have been kicking myself in the pants for it each time around). There is a flea market some friends of mine are selling at this weekend and they asked if I wanted to sell some stuff there. Gotta run over some prints or whatnot tomorrow and take my chances. I’m not expected anything to sell but thought it was really nice of them to offer since they want to help me sell. Who knows! Stranger things have happened!

On the 25th is the annual Art All Night show as well. I have an idea for a painting I want to do for it but am unsure I will have the time. I did find a job this past month. It is only part time but I am now juggling two part time jobs now and using savings to pay the rest of my bills. Still looking for a full time position. I have nothing but faith it will work out. No use being negative right?

Sorry for the strange entry – I am really tired…not a very good week so far. I’m off to read a bit (Cabinets of Curiosities) and then I’m off to dream world. It will be a busy day tomorrow (my only day off this week) as I have tons of errands to do and will be helping out my parents as well.

I really hope all of you are doing well! I really miss all of you and hope to keep in better touch soon.

It’s been awhile since I’ve logged on and today discovered my password was changed by someone else. Apparently I was hacked so I apologize to any and all who receive spam from my account as it was not me. Hopefully the change in password helps and they didn’t get too far in to my personal stuff.

As for me…not much is going on at the home front. Still unemployed. I have an interview tomorrow for a part time position I don’t even want (I gave up on only applying for full-time figuring I will have to work multiple part time positions again to pay the mortgage until someone wants me full time). Not much else going on.

I still can’t believe it’s 2009 already…I’m still waiting for 2008 to start

Hope everyone’s New Year started off well and I hope the resolutions will be hit for each and every one of you that set one As for me, I am grateful the holidays are over and I can get back to humdrum boring days I have gotten used to! My main goal this year is to find a new full time job that will pay the bills and finish up all the projects I started the past two years and complete them. Enough dawdling I say…

I am currently working on the first page of my comic – doing lots of research and about to pencil in the first frame I uploaded the cover art for your viewing pleasure – hope you all like it!

Well it’s time for me to get back to work now…have a great one everyone!

I’m gonna be busy the next few day visiting family and also working after Christmas for the “return” season…retail…gotta love it! Anyhow…wanted to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I’m still catching up on my inbox…only 4300 more deviations to view but I refuse to just delete them at whim so bear with me on late comments and quick favs!

I am pretty cheap when you commission me (much cheaper than say wanting to purchase one of my favorite originals usually)
How cheap you ask?

Well...I ask enough to cover materials and then base on an hourly rate. Since I finish everything pretty quick this doesn't cost you much in the end. For instance...the 10 minute sketches in my gallery (and others not shown) sell for only $5 USD. Yes...that wasn't a misprint - only $5. And they were a huge success at my last art show too!

I have done my research on what other artists charge and find that many are too expensive so that is why I keep my prices down. All of my prices are on a sliding scale and I work in pretty much all of the traditional art mediums. If you have an idea you want to pass by me just ask and I’ll see what can be done!
